The Irish Room ~ Located upstairs with panoramic views from either the pillowed window seat/bed or the private balcony. The French Basque Room ~ A bright, happy room with balcony to enjoy the setting sun. Contrasting gray walls and white trim hold many pictures old and new of Diana's French Basque heritage. The Olde Fairplay Room ~ Located upstairs, offering views of snow-covered Pyramid Peak from the private balcony. Reminiscent of the Gold Rush hotels of the bustling town of Fairplay, the brightly colored wainscoting, floral carpeting, brass queen bed, pillowed window seat, fireplace, and private bath with clawfoot tub share a little ambiance of yesteryear with the comforts of today. The Winemaker's Suite: Our most elegant suite with the most spectacular views, decorated in a wine fantasy theme. Exit at Missouri Flat Road. Turn right onto Missouri Flat road and go to end (approx. 2 miles). Turn left onto Pleasant Valley Road and go 5+ miles. Turn right at the Y onto Buck's Bar Road and go 5+ miles. Turn right onto Mt. Aukum Road and go 2 miles. Turn left onto Fairplay Road and look for winery signs.
From South Lake Tahoe: Take Hwy 50 west to Pollock Pines. Exit and turn Left onto Sly Park Road. Go about 16 miles to Pleasant Valley. Turn left onto Mt. Aukum Road (at Holiday Market) and go 6+ miles to Gray's Corner. Turn Left onto Fairplay Road and look for winery signs. Check website for directions from other locations.
